Perched on a hillside above three golden sand beaches, take in the stunning 180-degree panarama of the Pacific ocean, Cavalli Islands and the Pouhutakawa fringed coastline below.
Huntaway lodge is situated on Northlands East Coast, 30 min drive from Kerikeri, 3.5 Hours drive from Auckland CBD or a 40 min flight from Auckland A/P.

Te Ngaere is at the eastern end of the
lodge and is therefore best placed to view the sunrise over the Cavalli Islands. Leave the full length window blinds open so you won't even have to get out of bed to witness the event. This premier room has a flat screen

making facilities, beach towels,
toiletries, bathrobes.

Retreat-Cavalli
Named affectionately Cavalli after the islands it overlooks, this premier room is one of the biggest and most highly specified of our rooms. It has the biggest bed and because it has its very own DVD player, you can watch DVDs in bed - luxury! Naturally, the room is fully equipped with all manner of kit you would normally expect such as fridge / kettle / beach towels / bathrobes etc.
The room boasts a balcony-deck on two sides accessed via the full fold back deck doors. Please see ‘retreat living’ for more information.

Retreat-House 2room
The retreat is our new baby. Recently built and furnished to a high specification, it comprises an open-planned living room with kitchen-diner and deck doors that fold all the way back, two premier en-suite bedrooms with bath plus shower room and a balcony deck that flanks the building on three sides. As you can see, we have dressed the interior with designer furniture and furnishings plus equipped it with the latest flat screen satellite TV/DVD/CD technology....
